Verdict
Musashi ran better at Plumpton last time but needs to improve on that form to get the better of STRATFORD STROLLER, who is preferred to War Footing. Brendan Powell's gelding is less exposed than most of these after just six career starts and is only 3lbs higher than when second at Worcester last month so he has to be strongly considered. Lukie Victor may do better after the summer break for Evan Williams but of more interest may be Neil King's We're Delighted, who has been running consistently well of late. Just Beware needs to improve for his recent return, while Gary Moore's Lepido struggled off a similar mark at Hereford having been all out to win at Wincanton previously and he may be a shade high in the weights. The vote then goes the way of Jonjo O'Neill's Stratford Stroller, who should appreciate the return to a softer surface having disappointed on fast ground before falling two out at Bangor last time.
