In depth

Verdict

SMART SALUTE (NAP) finished ahead of Gigawatt when runner-up at Kempton to today's rival Holiday Magic. But Ed Walker's charge re-opposes on much better terms and can turn the tables with the Godolphin representative. The latter has since finished behind Dr Red Eye back at Kempton with Evening Attire well beaten and Scott Dixon's six-year-old looks the main threat given Corporal Maddox and Nonno Giulio arrive out of form.
