        Verdict

        Luloah gets the call over Sounds Simla, with Saxon Star and Buzzin'boyzee two others in with a shout. An apprentice claimer is not really seen as the best of betting mediums, but Luloah has shown enough to suggest that she is capable of scoring over six furlongs. Tried only over the minimum trip to date, she opened her account on the Southwell fibresand just after Christmas and only four days ago went down by a short-head to Egyptian Lord in a class 5 handicap. The drop to this grade should see her run a big race under Donna Caldwell. Sounds Simla showed a good level of form as a juvenile, but was disappointing on her first outing for Rae Guest at Wolverhampton five days ago. It may well be that she needed that first run since August though, and she should not be dismissed lightly, although she looks held by Buzzin' boyzee on that latest form. Saxon Star ran well in a first-time visor when third at Wolverhampton and can be given a squeak, but we prefer to side with Luloah.
