Chief's Will, placed here and at Southwell in his last three starts including on Sunday, was engaged in the 7.30 at the latter track last night. STARSHIBA completed a double here last month and ran a fine race on his hat-trick bid over 7f here after starting slowly and finishing strongly. Masqool has been looking a bit high in the weights after completing an all-weather hat-trick in the autumn but Super Den didn't get the run of the race at Wolverhampton after losing his maiden tag at Kempton.
