        Verdict

        Gunner Moyne landed a double at Chelmsford in January but remains 8lb higher, though Hector Crouch’s allowance helps on that score. Pike Corner Cross came up short again over 1m2f last time but was beaten only a length over today’s trip before that while Storm Runner just got the better of Chella Thriller over track and trip in December. Polar Kite and Bookmaker have both won over 7f this year but NUBAR BOY went close at Kempton last time having slipped down the weights and it could be his turn today.
