Verdict
Afram Blue can land this maiden at the main expense of Bahamarama and Pretty Bonnie. The selection finished fourth behind Ramblin Bob at Salisbury on his debut but the horse that finished fifth in that race has since been out and won twice so the form looks to be rock solid. Bahamarama was unsuited by the heavy ground at Windsor last time but she would have to enter calculations based on what she had shown previously. Pretty Bonnie finished just ahead of Mac Dalia last time so if she runs well in the opener then that could give the form a boost. Magical Song is an interesting newcomer from a yard that has to be respected in these type of events, but Afram Blue showed enough on his debut to make him the one to beat here.
