In depth
Verdict
Not too much form on show for our final race so the market may prove a very good guide, however Zaffre makes a quick return to the racecourse and is given a tentative vote ahead of Doce Vida and the newcomer Unusual Suspect. Zaffre made a winning debut at Warwick last week and although it is difficult to know how good the form is, she did win it in very game fashion. Doce Vida made a promising debut at Worcester back in May and should put the experience to good use. Unusual Suspect hails from an inform stable that does well in these events so is worth checking out in the betting market. The same applies to The Wooden Spoon who is a gelding by Old Vic so shouldn¿t have any problems with this trip, but we will stick with form and give Zaffre the seal of approval.
