In depth

Verdict

MANDY'S HERO tried running the finish out of a higher rated rival in a maiden at Kempton recently but was caught inside the final furlong after leading most of the way. This looks easier and, ridden with a bit more restraint, Ian Williams' gelding could take some catching. Mosa Mine also went close at Kempton last time when beaten only a head by Co Dependent with Spring Leap behind. She has the beating of that rival once again and looks a threat. Kassaab has yet to match his promising debut effort at Musselburgh but Pineapple Pete put in a better effort here on Saturday when just touched off by Liberty Green.
