Verdict
This has attracted a stronger entry than the prize money warrants. Summer Chorus was a 33/1 chance when just touched off on her debut at Bath and showed the benefit when landing her maiden over 6f here in November when staying on to lead close home. DISCREET HERO had shown potential on Turf before a smooth success in a nursery over the minimum here in September. He looked the type to go on to better things and, though 8lb higher, looks the one to be on. Lightsome has been showing very good speed before fading over longer trips so she should get involved while Port Gaverne showed enough in his three runs last spring to suggest he can win races, though the long absence is an obvious concern. Toledo was having his first start since July when catching the eye over 7f here last month and, with that under his belt and over a more suitable trip, he could provide the main threat.
