        Verdict

        LIVIA THE EMPRESS (NAP) was in good form throughout the autumn, scoring over a mile at Chelmsford and not quite getting the run of the race under a penalty at Wolverhampton. She stays this trip and can go in again. Tick Toch has yet to win but is taking a drop in grade and, like So True, is tackling the trip for the first time. Mark Johnston continues to fire in the winners and though Myrtle Maclagan hasn't shown much she's another dropping down a class. Study The Stars has shown a bit of potential on Turf but not so far on the all-weather.
