In depth

Verdict

GLENAMOY LAD hasn't been seen on the track since last November but is certainly the most interesting one here. Formerly with the Condon operation in Ireland, the Royal Applause gelding now has a first start for Michael Wigham and will be hard to overcome if able to reproduce some useful Irish juvenile form, including an excellent Leopardstown effort over this trip. Franny Norton is booked and strong market support would strengthen confidence. Wardy showed plenty of promise on his Doncaster debut recently and should progress from the run and prove competitive, whilst Joys Delight ran well enough in an all-weather maiden last time to be of interest.
