In depth

Verdict

Fenlons Court has failed to build on a earlier third over fences at Bangor while Bact To Black has won over hurdles here but was pulled-up at Chepstow on his chasing bow. BALLYART could only manage fourth when sent off odds-on at Bangor on his return to action. But the winner has gone in again since and with first-time headgear likely to bring improvement, Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge gets the vote. Third over timber at Chepstow when last in action, Colonel Keating has undergone wind surgery subsequently and debuts over fences along with Inspireus, who has a recent spin over timber at Fontwell under his belt.
