        Verdict

        Recent winners Midnight Malibu and Come On Dave are both upped in class off higher marks today. The progressive Alsvinder has won two of his last three outings and finished ahead of Shamshon when runner-up at Kempton in between while Sir Maximilian returns to action having placed at Meydan in February when last seen at the track. GRACIOUS JOHN is 5lb higher than when scoring at Leicester in October but this looks easier than last month’s task at Nottingham. He won last year’s renewal off a higher mark and it’s David Evans’ sprinter that gets the nod to go in again.
