Verdict

Kasbah was runner-up in last year’s renewal off a similar mark and finished in front of Reckless Endeavour with Leo Minor further behind when second again here a fortnight ago. Human Nature won a lower grade sprint at Chelmsford last month but is 5lb higher and Ascot Day’s victory at Newcastle came back in July. BOOM THE GROOM (NAP) usually competes over 5f nowadays but is a course and distance winner in the past and a recent second at Wolverhampton suggests he can go very close in this as he drops down in class.
