Verdict

Almqvist represents last year’s winning yard but didn’t look like catching the winner when second at Kempton and HEER WE GO AGAIN is preferred. The latter was only fourth over track and trip last time but that was in a tougher Class 3 sprint and David Evans’ charge will find life easier in this. Several make their handicaps debuts and may improve including recent Southwell third Anna Maria while Lua De Mel is a dual winner in novice company and the returning Vandad is another to keep an eye on.
