Anthea, Steam Cuisine and Bathwick Style are the principals on offer and we are happy to side with Anthea. Her recent run at Warwick can go down as a significant improvement on her opening bow and if she can control a tendency to hang right under pressure, there is an obvious chance on all-weather debut. Steam Cuisine ran a solid race on debut at Ayr. The time figure was disappointingly slow in spite of conditions so more will be required in order to go one better. Bathwick Style has ran well on an artificial surface in the past although some of her turf form does little to inspire confidence. Poyle Kiera flopped badly at Leicester after being the subject of substantial morning support. She is surely better than this. Grand Lucre has ran green on two careers starts and could still be open to some level of improvement. Group Force was easy to back on debut and ran accordingly in the race. Gutter Press is watched in the market. A race of many imponderables but Anthea looks most open to improvement.
