Verdict
Spring Glory gets the vote ahead of Beau Sancy and Zelos. The selection comes from a yard that is notorious for winning with first time handicappers. Spring Glory has had three runs in maidens and now steps up in trip running off a handy mark. His form figures are nothing to write home about but the market will be a guide as to how well he can perform. Beau Sancy carries a six-pound penalty for his recent win at Woverhampton and as a consequence will find this tougher. Having said that, connections must be confident that he is better treated with a penalty rather than wait to be reassessed so is worth noting. So is Zelos who is another running in a handicap for the first time. He carries top weight and therefore has it to do against more fancied horses, so is to be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to Spring Glory.
