Verdict

Barchan won well over 7f at Wolverhampton, despite a tardy start, but will need to race closer to the pace over this shorter distance. Primrose Valley is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring at Kempton while it's hard to get a handle on the form of duel Chantilly winner Something Lucky as he debuts for a new yard. Kaufmann finished well behind third-placed ANONYMOUS JOHN over the minimum trip at Chelmsford last time and the latter is fancied to return to winning ways back over 6f and dropping down a grade.
