In depth

Verdict

PEARL BEACH built on earlier placed efforts to score easily over track and trip with Evaporust well beaten in third. The runner-up has already franked the form and Bill Knight’s filly can defy a penalty. Prince Percy has placed over hurdles since finishing second over 1m2f here and has the beating of Swan River on collateral form while better is expected from Windy Cove back over 1m4f with Oisin Murphy on board. Nostalgica and Rodrigo Diaz go handicapping for the first time and are worth a second glance.
