Verdict
A trappy mares race gets proceedings underway and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Launseston, She's Humble and Pia Jane and the narrow vote is given to She's Humble. The selection has fitness on her side was a fair second behind Amnesty last time out she will like the ground and looks a value bet in an open affair. Launceston rates the main danger on her second behind La Grande Villez a couple of starts ago but her stable have yet to hit top form and the suspicion is she may need the run after a 323 day break. Pia Jane is from a yard whose yard has already been amongst the winners this season and she showed a modicum of ability last season, she looks sure to improve and should be watched in the market. Of the remainder Spendent Spree was a fair fourth behind Mon Michel last time and is another with place claims but the suspicion is she will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. This race contains plenty of dead-wood and for the winner we return to She's Humble.
