Verdict
Hallings Comet's winning run came to an end at Cheltenham last month and he is very much a Worcester specialist who prefers quicker ground. Despite a 7lb rise, Southwell second Gabrial The Great is still rated lower than over fences but he can be a little quirky. Boyhood has gone up another 4lb since his fourth at Bangor in March but Molly Carew is making her handicap debut and won over 2m on heavy going here back in January. AWAY FROM SLATES and Champagne George are both returning from an absence but represent yards more than capable of getting one ready at home. Dan Skelton's dual winner gets the nod as he won't mind the ground and Bridget Andrews' claim is a plus.
