      Verdict

CASARUAN won over today’s trip at Chelmsford in February and returned to action with a cosy victory over 7f at the same track last week. Mick Appleby’s charge is 7lb higher today but has not had much racing and further progress looks likely in what looks a weak contest. Mr Mac is creeping closer as he slides further down the weights and Misu Pete posted a better effort at Wolverhampton and is now back on a winning mark while Dancing Jo may prove best of the rest.
