Verdict

This is a tricky start as Uttoxeter winner Oscars Den will have to be useful to defy his penalty over this longer trip. The soft ground will make this a stamina test so staying chaser Kind Of Easy enters the equation while Madness Light had plenty of experience of the conditions in France and was only beaten a neck at Exeter last month. STROLLAWAYNOW again gave the impression a step up in distance was required when fifth at Ludlow. An earlier second at Stratford has worked out well and David Arbuthnot's charge could be allowed to start at decent odds today. Brave Vic and The Clock Leary are best watched following lay-offs.
