        Verdict

        Another open affair but a chance is taken on Sharp Spice. The filly showed signs of a revival last time out when third behind Crunchy and a reproduction of that effort would see her go close. Kelpie rates the main danger he has finished in mid-division in much better races of late and despite his big weight he should go well in this easier grade with conditions in his favour. Figura is also worthy of consideration having won well when defeating Factual Lad last time. However he is unproven at this trip and for that reason he is passed over. Broughton Zest is well in on his best form but he was very disappointing last time, and although she has won at this trip her best form is over shorter distances. The booking of Kieren Fallon for Lakatoi catches the eye but he is still a maiden after 12 starts. Of the remainder Molly's Secret could run well at a fair price with her stable in form but she has never won over a trip this far.
