Verdict
Mark Johnston has trained the last couple of winners of this event and NELLIE BLY could make it a hat-trick. She just held on for victory over 6f here last month and today's extra furlong looks likely to bring further improvement. The Scuttler and Laudation finished upsides over track and trip last time though neither threatened the winner while the handicapper looks to have got Al Gharrafa about right as she's been beaten in a couple of starts since landing a maiden at Wolverhampton. Indian Affair dead-heated for first at Kempton last month and tries 7f for the first time today.
