      Verdict

      Alnoory Star probably improved on her third at Pontefract when fourth at Newmarket in this but may not have the pace for this. Hot Front has the plum draw but was well behind Princess Chizara in the Queen Mary in between placed efforts at Wetherby and Windsor. Lady Showcasing was beaten less than a length on her only previous run on an artificial surface but LEAVES OF GRASS gets a tentative vote dropping down a furlong with the headgear left off.
