Not many of these arrive in form but Stormbound is an exception. His latest second at Kempton came in an apprentices' race but he'd won in this grade previously at Bath. Wordismybond had been going well prior to his latest run at Windsor but this may be on the sharp side for Silver Dixie nowadays. ROYAL PRESERVE's only win so far came here in November but he's been running well in the main this year and has been dropped a couple of pounds lately. Andrew Balding's gelding shouldn't be far away. Gang Warfare has gone close a couple of times and could be a danger if a short break has recharged the batteries.
