        Verdict

        A modest event in which it could pay to follow the market. Without that prior knowledge, we will opt for Harbour House over Cherokee Bay. The selection ran well enough over six furlongs last time to suggest that a return to this kind of trip could bring dividends. As such, he seems to have as good a chance as any. Cherokee Bay has to have a leading chance, if she consents to put her best foot forward. Wilom showed his best form for a while when fourth over course and distance last time and Santa Catalina has chances on the best of her form. Similarly, Miss Peaches' best run to date was over today's course and distance. Maggies Pet keeps knocking at the door and should be on the premises again. Ivy Moon could go well but is untried on the surface. Overall, then, we'll side with Harbour House.
