Waldsee has been placed off his current mark the last twice but was a couple of lengths behind runner-up Broughtons Bandit at Wolverhampton last time. The latter should be in the firing-line once again but a chance is taken on REILLYS DAUGHTER. She began life in handicaps off a 13lb higher mark last summer and a close-up third at Kempton on her seasonal return suggests she's finally ready to open her account. Three times a winner over hurdles last year, Alfraamsey's last run on the Flat was over an inadequate 1m2f and he could figure along with Il Portico, who will have come on for a recent pipe-opener over C&D.
