    Verdict

MATIDIA was beaten only a length over today’s trip at Beverley on her reappearance. Ralph Beckett’s filly gets the nod ahead of Hint Of Grey, a winner over 1m2f on Turf here last month before going close again. Sir Mark Prescott’s All The Rage will no doubt improve for the longer trip and that makes her a danger while Mikro Polemistis has been threatening to get her head in front with a string of placed efforts. Rock 'n Red won her maiden over 1m4f back in April and returns to the same trip for the first time since.
