In depth

Verdict

A low turnout and Natural Action is our selection ahead of Mister Completely and Lady Dedlock. The selection has a poor strike rate but his fourth at Doncaster was obtained against much better horses and we do at least know that he is capable of acting on the surface. Mister Completely won this race last year and needs little in the way of introduction. A recent second at Wolverhampton at least represented a step in the right direction. Lady Dedlock should be up to winning this but there are ground concerns. Swingkeel is a typical John Dunlop type and it would be no surprise to see the step up in trip glean plenty of improvement. Ashmolian is a long standing maiden. Not a race that will live long in the memory and we prefer Natural Action.
