        Verdict

        Several of these have been allotted handicap marks with Wohileh coming out best on these terms ahead of Definition, Natch and Rare. The former failed to see out a longer trip last time but had gone close over 1m4f at Kempton before that. Horatio Star found one too good at Catterick back in June but hasn’t raced since while REFEREE made a promising start when fourth over today’s trip at Kempton last month despite showing signs of inexperience. Hugo Palmer’s charge may well prove good enough with normal progress and gets the vote.
