        Verdict

        A couple of these are clear at the weights. Mac's Power is one of them, but he hasn't raced since October when well beaten in a claimer on heavy ground, so this looks a good opportunity for HAMOODY. Dandy Nicholls' charge ran below par last time but beat higher rated opposition than this in a similar event over 5f here earlier and is the one to beat again on that form. Kuanyao won at Kempton the last time he raced in plating company and Senator Bong is dropped in class today. Dark Lane is also capable at this level and scored at Wolverhampton early in the month.
