        Resplendent Star (IRE) Led for long way when close second to Willie Conquer here last time; stable always to be feared on all-weather and good apprentice takes off a handy 5lb.

        The Green Grey Tough sort who goes particularly well on this surface; has shown best form over longer trips so may struggle dropping back to 10f.

        Risk Free Normally competes over shorter trips; won smoothly in 8f Class D event here earlier this month; followed with close third to Kinsman in Class C.

        Kinsman (IRE) Finished strongly when beating Most-Saucy by a length here last time, with Risk Free back in third; has shown best form over shorter than he faces now.

        Culzean (IRE) Second to the prolific winner Jorrocks at Southwell early last month; beat Kathakali by a neck in Wolverhampton 9f handicap before that; unproven on Equitrack.

        For Your Eyes Only Showed reasonable form in Dubai on dirt during 1998/99 season; lightly-raced since and well beaten in Cambridgeshire when last seen.

        Hannibal Lad Versatile sort who has shown his form on Equitrack, Fibresand and Turf; second to Lost Spirit here recently over 12f; may not be ideally suited by this 10f trip.

        Ionian Spring (IRE) Rare flat performer for this yard; fourth to Willie Conquer over course and distance last time out; reasonable outside chance.

        Mi Odds Penalised 6lb for winning Class D contest at Southwell on Monday; has shown best form on Fibresand over further.

        Ursa Major In very good form last winter here, and won for first time this all-weather campaign in December when beating Willie Conquer by 1.25l; at his best when coming from behind off strong pace.

        China Red (USA) Won 8f claimer at Epsom in August; has not fired on all-weather this winter and hard to fancy here.

        White Plains (IRE) Finished second to Moon Emperor over 12f here last time; not the most consistent of performers and may be better over a longer trip than this.

        Willie Conquer Got up close home to beat Resplendent Star over course and distance last month; below form behind Lost Spirit earlier on last outing; game veteran who cannot be ruled out.
