      Verdict

      MS GILLARD drops back in distance in an attempt to end a frustrating run of placed efforts. She was second again over 1m2f at Newcastle recently and Sophie Killoran’s allowance could make the difference in this. Ixelles Diamond slips further down the weights having placed at Kempton on her reappearance and is preferred to Welsh Inlet, who won a lower grade contest over 7f here last month, while Little Kipling is another who should be sharper for a recent comeback run and is not badly treated.
