    Verdict

THE VERY MOON finished clear of the rest when runner-up over 1m2f at Doncaster. Breeding suggests she’ll improve for this extra distance and Sir Michael Stoute’s filly can open her account with Ryan Moore in the plate today. Maktabba also steps up in trip after placing at Beverley and can figure while Shining Sea looks a likely improver having finished well ahead of Sharqi at Wolverhampton on her debut. The remainder are hard to recommend on what little they have shown so far.
