Verdict
A poor maiden gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Pauvic Sapphire Storm and Legal Call and the narrow vote is given to Pauvic The selection was a fair fourth behind Making Music last time out he is one of the least exposed in the field so should improve and from what looks a good draw. Sapphire Storm rates the main danger on his best form. He was outclassed behind Rubenstar last time. This looks easier but he is more exposed than most and for that reason he is opposed. Legal Call is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Royal Lass is a nice type on breeding and is worth noting in the market but in a trappy affair for the winner we return to Pauvic.
