Verdict
There is little form for backers to go on in this maiden with Hugh Morrison's Daffydowndilly, who is rated 73, the clear pick among those to have raced previously but this is likely to go to one of the newcomers with FASTEST MAGICIAN taking the eye and getting the verdict. Jeremy Noseda's gelding is bred to be useful being by Johannesburg out of a Mr Prospector mare and he can give his handler a winner at the first time of asking. Richard Hannon's runners always warrant respect and the Proclamation filly Palais Glide is no exception with her making more appeal than the William Haggas-trained Arowana, who was well held at Kempton last time having made a promising debut.
