In depth

Verdict

Jamie Snowdon had a chance in the opening race and Datsalrightgino can figure after finishing second at Plumpton. Ludlow winner Miss Austen is penalised and faded badly on her recent return to action while though Shield Of Honour placed over a shorter trip at Market Rasen earlier she struggled last time. Imperial Storm wasn’t disgraced on the Turf at Southwell when Nicky Henderson trained the winner but the latter runs three in this with newcomer KIMMINS preferred. She’s a full sister to top-class stablemate Santini while €68,000 purchase Clear On Top is another to note.
