        Verdict

        The progressive Cape Discovery returns to action having landed a double at Windsor back in May. Both Artful Rogue and Ride The Lightning won lower grade handicaps over track and trip last time and have to contend with a rise in the weights while Plutocracy looks a bit stuck off his current mark having placed at Kempton recently. But HERMANN (NAP) has the most scope of these after picking-up a maiden race at Wolverhampton last month where he beat a subsequent winner. The Hannon colt gets the vote to continue his progress now handicapping for the first time.
