Verdict

The three-year-old sprinters take centre stage in a hard race to call. Charming Kid won easily on a trip over to Dundalk in January but found Deputise too good at Wolverhampton earlier and the latter bids for a hat-trick on his reappearance. Concierge won a decent conditions race at Newcastle in October and William Buick takes over the reins today while Deep Intrigue missed out on a treble by only a neck over 7f here last time with You Never Can Tell and Quiet Endeavour behind. The latter represents last year’s winning yard but was recently beaten three lengths in a Listed race on the all-weather at Chantilly by PIZZICATO. Fabrice Chappet’s progressive sprinter doesn’t look out of place in this company on that form and gets the vote with Christophe Soumillon keeping the winning partnership intact. James Street has something to find with Deep Intrigue though may still prove best of the rest.
