Verdict
EPSOM SALTS has found his speciality recently racing on the polytrack and has the selection with Snowberry Hill and Potentiale likely to challenge. The last three outings for our pick on the all-weather have ended up in two victories and a placing. The latest victory came here over a slightly longer trip a week ago and despite that he will run off a really competitive mark here receiving weight from most of the field. His polytrack form is the best of this lot and this is certainly the right standard for him to score again. Snowberry Hill is a horse heading in the right direction with the last three outing providing improved performances each time. This is another suited by the surface with the gelding landing two from eight starts on it. This is a step up in class but down in distance and with further improvement likely it gives him a chance of some prize money. Potentiale is running consistently well at the moment and wasn't far off the pace when fourth of six here last time. Racing off a mark two pounds lighter than when he was second over course and distance in September he has a claim but still has to give a lot to our selection. On last year's Kempton form Highest Esteem has a chance while Strike Force could have an each way shout but steps up in distance but the horse they all have to beat is Epsom Salts.
