Verdict

DUBAI WARRIOR went on the land the Winter Derby here in February having won this contest earlier. John Gosden’s charge made a successful reappearance in a Listed contest over track and trip last month though a couple of these are weighted to make life more difficult today. Bangkok should be sharper for an outing in Bahrain last month but was only third behind the selection when odds-on for the Winter Derby and the returning Sangarius may prove more of a threat. The latter won the Group 3 Hampton Court at Ascot in June and has undergone wind surgery subsequently while the progressive Johnny Drama drops back down in trip for this but has something to find on collateral form with the selection on a recent Listed success at Kempton.
