In depth

Verdict

Rebel Duke, Shustraya and Mr Loire are three against the field in a trappy handicap and the narrow vote is given to Rebel Duke. The selection won a maiden in good style last time out when beating Wibbadune, enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and from a good draw looks the one to be on. Shustraya rates the main danger on her latest second behind Pixie Ring but she has risen in the weights for getting beat and looks opposable on that basis. Mr Loire is another that could go well on his latest third behind Love In May. He is better off with that rival here and should be watched in the market. Love In May, now looks in the handicappers grip. Of the remainder Proper is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the unexposed Rebel Duke.
