In depth
Verdict
A competitive heat but Moon Mix, a very unlucky second last time can get his head in front here at the main expense of Wicked Daze and Jack Rolfe. Moon Mix, a 33k guineas purchase out of Dermot Weld's yard, met severe trouble at Kempton last time leaving today's rival Jack Rolfe to win. He would have won with alot in hand and his potential superiority is reflected in the fact he is 2lb worse off for a 1/2 length beating. Moon Mix is a confident choice. Wicked Daze has to be respected hailing from the Prescott yard and takes a big step up in trip having been beaten over 1m 4f last time. He had some pretty exposed sorts around him on that occasion but the extra four furlongs will suit. Jack Rolfe beat the selection at Kempton and has been a model of consistency for connections. On the evidence of his last run he has it all to do here with Moon Mix who is the selection though.
