Verdict

Gary Mahon's claim negated a 7lb rise for course and distance winner WHITECREST on his latest start at Brighton and the latter duly went in again. He is 3lb higher today but can shrug that off in this company and the hat-trick beckons. A Class 2 winner on the Polytrack, Diamond Charlie can race off a much lower mark on this surface but was well beaten at Goodwood last time while Welease Bwian is better over 6f nowadays but looks high enough in the weights anyway. Silverrica is back on a winning mark and Ada Lovelace scored off a higher mark at Brighton back in August.
