      Verdict

BLESSINGTON's run on heavy ground last time was too bad to be true. The going probably played a part but the outing may also have come too soon after an excellent second to Intibaah at Ascot and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice here. A wide draw complicates matters, however, and course and distance winner If So has to be a danger after placed efforts at Haydock and Kempton. Prodigality has been very highly tried this year and should appreciate this easier task but this looks much too sharp for Trader Jack while Fair Value's best form is over 5f. Peace Seeker was only beaten a nose at Wolverhampton last time but is 3lb higher here and was behind If So earlier, though finished ahead of Stonefield Flyer. Rivellino has been running a little better than recent form figures suggests and shouldn't be ignored as he's already won twice over this trip on the Polytrack.
