Verdict
ORIGINAIRE had finished a lot closer at Kempton on his debut than he did when third at the same track last time. But headgear is applied today and the Haggas colt gets the vote to take a further step forward and open his account. Top Top also needs to step up on a modest debut effort at Newmarket and Past Glories showed no improvement at Newcastle last time but several newcomers are worth noting. Jim Crowley prefers the $450,000 purchase Dawaam to Khuzaam and Global Freedom’s dam won on the all-weather in France while Queen And Country is a half-brother to a winner and preferred to Water's Edge.
