In depth
Verdict
PETE THE FEAT jumped poorly and never got into a rhythm when well beaten on his latest outing. However, he won two of his previous three starts over fences, stays today's trip and is given a chance to get back on track in this company. Point-to-point winner Present A Star scored on his first start over regulation fences at Plumpton a week ago and there should be more to come from him, but Duke Of Ormond couldn't follow up his Market Rasen victory off a higher mark at Leicester last time. Ginolad has ability but an annoying habit of switching off in a race and losing ground and Sole Agent makes more appeal having been placed in a recent point-to-point.
