        Verdict

        Not a race to get heavily involved with considering the time of year and caution may favour the brave here. Rifleman has the ideal jockey-booking if he is to add to his tally today. But the form of his victory at Wolverhampton took a bit of a dent on Friday and he may be worth opposing. the shortlist includes Just Fly, And Toto Too and Blue Rondo, but they may all have to play a minor role behind Extra Gear. The Diesis colt picked up well enough in the closing stages last time to suggest that there are races to be won with him and he can get off the mark at the third time of asking here.
